Primary schools participating in Rugby League in 2008 have more than doubled in size from 2007. With a round robin competition and one day event carnivals, we are seeing an increase in not only males, but also females participating in our non contact program.
Secondary schools are growing from strength to strength every year. With a healthy under 16's competition and under 18's having a major boost from players in the school programs, the program has produced many talented state players.
School student participation continues to increase in both Primary and High Schools with a total of 40 High Schools and 60 Primary Schools taking part in regular clinics and competition throughout the school year.
